You give some interesting background about Heath Ledger and Christopher Nolan here Josh but completely miss the point of the activity. You have neglected to discuss how representation of the Joker is constructed. What elements of media language are developing meaning for the audience and how is this happening? For instance; "The character of the Joker is depicted in a medium close-up shot wearing clown-like make-up, which appears to be smeared and distressed as though it is running down his face like smudged mascara. This conjures up connotations of a an abnormal personality who resembles an evil psychotic clown, with tendencies to cause distress and mayhem to others. This is clearly reinforced by the behaviour he exhibits whilst being violently questioned by Batman." (T) Be clear about what you are being asked to do. Include subject specific terminology in your analyses.
